Dolcetto fiddles with the collar of his dress shirt nervous as he stands in front of Eden’s apartment door. This would be the first proper date since they first started seeing each other and he does not want to mess it up. He reaches up slowly and knocks on the door.

“Eden, it’s me.” He speaks loudly, hoping she would hear him. He almost wants to slap himself. Of course she knows it’s him, she always does. Hopefully she wasn’t irritated or anything, he is after all a tad late.

“I-uh- hold on!” She bit her lip and tugged on the low ponytail she’d put her hair in. Walking over to the mirror in the bathroom she gave herself another once over. Eden didn’t even know how to go about something like this; it wasn’t like she’d been on many dates before. She hadn’t known where to start and had nerves that made her stomach flip all day. How was it that he did this to her? It was just a date, and they were already together. No big deal right? The long sleeved dark dress she wore was simple enough and she almost scowled. She missed jeans already. Sighing, the blonde made her way to the door and opened it slowly, smiling a little when she saw him. “Hi..”

She might as well have waited an hour to open the door and it wouldn’t have made a difference to him. It seemed as if the time between his knocking and her opening the door couldn’t have happened faster. His eyes widen slightly as she opens the door and greets him.

“You look beautiful.” He smiles and gives her a once over. Something simple, yet she pulls it off very well. He has never been more nervous about taking a girl on a date before, but it is different with Eden. A lot of thinks are different with Eden. “We - uh - have a dinner reservation in an hour. So, we can take a walk around the park or wherever you’d like until then.” He explains.
