Dolcetto had a wife when he was serving in the Ishvalan war. He was much like Maes Hughes in his showing her off with pictures and such. When he disappeared, she was heartbroken. It took her years to move on, but she did it. Dolcetto still doesn’t remember her, but he remembers her face.

Even if his memories return to him, he will never return to the life he had before. It may tempt him, but he knows this is his life now and nothing can change that fact.
