I'm Dolcetto.Valentines Day ~ @ Eden
He looks around with a worried expression. She had forgotten the day. How embarrassing, he mentally kicks himself in the butt.
“It’s - er - you know, Valentines Day.” He tells her sheepishly, the present still hidden behind his back. “I just - I got you a present.”
Her face heated up and she bit her lip. It wasn’t like she forgot holidays on purpose..She just never really..thought about them. Plus she was new to this whole relationship thing. That word just made her cheeks flare more.
“You did?” She was curious, both to why and what it was. She hadn’t gotten him anything. Well shit, I’ll have to think of something..
“I did,” He gives a small nod and brings his hands around, showing her the gifts. An odd looking dog stuffed animal, that was strangely cute. It sort of resembled a bear. In his other hand, a box of chocolates. Which is the usual thing to get someone for this holiday. “I hope you like them.” He smiles slightly and holds them out for her to take.
Her eyes flicker between his smile and the gifts for a few moments before she gives up and suddenly wraps her arms around his neck, kissing him on the cheek. ” ‘Course I like them, but I like you more.” She added silently and under her breath, cheeks still red. She was always blushing around him and she hated it, but she could learn to deal with it for now.
“I didn’t get you a present.” Eden mumbled, looking up at him for a second. “So this’ll have to hold you off until I can find something.” She closed the gap between them before he could answer, kissing him softly.
He stands there silently, holding them out. He was surprised when she wraps her arms around his neck and kisses him on the cheek, but he couldn’t help but smile. Especially when he sees how red her face turns when they’re together.
“You don’t have to get me anything,” He replies, “I mean holidays are all for giving an-” He was in the middle of speaking when she interrupts him with a kiss. He holds onto the gifts so he wont drop them, then slowly wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her closer to him.
